ON AIR COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

MGHEES WORKPLACE OF THE WEEK COMPETITION

RULES

  • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Workplace of the Week’ radio competition (the “Competition”) which will run each Friday, with 1 workplace being picked from all entries for the duration. The competition will run weekly indefinitely.
  • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

DETAILS OF THE COMPETITION

  • To enter the Competition an Entrant must register online at thisisgo.co.uk and fill out the required details
  • Each entrant will be put into the draw and a winner will be selected at random each week.
  • Donuts will be delivered on Friday therefore premises must be open on a Friday

ELIGIBILITY

  • Entrants must be 18 years or over.
  • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the on-air competition; duplicate entries will be removed.
  • Entrants must live in the following postcode areas – G, FK, PA, KA or ML.

PRIZE

  • 1 box of McGhees products – not restricted to donuts 
  • Prize redemption can take up to 28 days.
  • Go Radio reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.

    £5K PAYDAY

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to £5K PAYDAY running from Monday 5th August 2024
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • Register online at thisisgo.co.uk to play
    • One contestant will be selected at random each day for the duration of the competition to answer 10 general knowledge questions on-air
    • Contestant must answer all 10 questions correctly within 60 seconds to win
    • Go Radio’s decision regarding timings and answers given is final

    ELIGIBILITY

    • Entrants MUST be 18 years of age or older
    • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the competition; duplicate entries will be removed
    • Entrants must live in the following postcode areas – G, FK, PA, KA or ML

    PRIZE

    • Five thousand pounds cash, paid via bank transfer
    • Prize redemption may take up to and including 28 days

    STEREOFUNK

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Stereofunk running from 21st November until April 2026.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    ELIGIBILITY

    Boozebrunch the Festival

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to BoozeBrunch the Festival running from Monday 1st December until 31 April 2026.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    Whopper Wednesday – Burger King

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Whopper Wednesday running from Monday 6th October 2025.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    Shawfield Timber – Score Predictor

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Score Predictor running from Thursday 4th December – April 2026.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • One entrant will be randomly selected to give their predictions on weekend SPFL fixtures
    • The contestant shall give their predictions using WIN, LOSE, OR DRAW
    • Contestant will give predictions on Friday’s GRFS and will come back on-air on Mondays show to talk over the results
    • Go Radios decision regarding answers given is final

    ELIGIBILITY 

    • Entrants MUST be 18 years of age or older

    Scottish Gas – Pick Your Pundit

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Pick Your Pundit running from Monday 26th January 2026 until May 2026.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • One entrant will be randomly selected to select one football pundit to name as many things relating to topic given by host
    • The two pundits will offer how many they can name
    • The lower offer if correctly completed is worth £250
    • The highrer offer if correctly completed is worth £500

    ELIGIBILITY

    Racketbarn

    • Two entrants will be randomly selected to play ‘radio padel’
    • Contestants will be given a topic to go back and forward on naming as many items relating to given topic as they can
    • The last contestant to name an item wins
    • Go Radios decision regarding answers given is final

    ELIGIBILITY

    Science Centre

    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    • Two entrants will be randomly selected to play
    • Contestants will be a track that has been remixed
    • Contestant must correctly identify the track to win

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Beechwood Fencing & Decking Supplies running from Monday 23rd February to Friday 27th February.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    • Contestant will be given a series of clues as to who the dj is at Gina’s Garden Party
    • Correct answer must be given to win

    JACKTON DISTILLERY

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Jackton Distillery running from Friday 6th February until Friday 13th February 2026.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    • Contestant will phone their parnter (person of significance) on air and sing them a love song
    • Go Radios decision regarding answers given is final

    ELIGIBILITY

    PRIZE

    • Overnight stay at Jackton Distillery
    • Stay must be redeemed between 16th Feb and 30th April 2026 (outside of busier accommodation season).
    • Tour should be taken during overnight stay

    • £50 gift card – anything over and above £50 spend will be paid by the winner
