ON AIR COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

MGHEES WORKPLACE OF THE WEEK COMPETITION

RULES

  • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Workplace of the Week’ radio competition (the “Competition”) which will run each Friday, with 1 workplace being picked from all entries for the duration. The competition will run weekly indefinitely.
  • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

DETAILS OF THE COMPETITION

  • To enter the Competition an Entrant must register online at thisisgo.co.uk and fill out the required details
  • Each entrant will be put into the draw and a winner will be selected at random each week.
  • Donuts will be delivered on Friday therefore premises must be open on a Friday

ELIGIBILITY

  • Entrants must be 18 years or over.
  • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the on-air competition; duplicate entries will be removed.
  • Entrants must live in the following postcode areas – G, FK, PA, KA or ML.

PRIZE

  • 1 box of McGhees products – not restricted to donuts 
  • Prize redemption can take up to 28 days.
  • Go Radio reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.

    £5K PAYDAY

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to £5K PAYDAY running from Monday 5th August 2024
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • Register online at thisisgo.co.uk to play
    • One contestant will be selected at random each day for the duration of the competition to answer 10 general knowledge questions on-air
    • Contestant must answer all 10 questions correctly within 60 seconds to win
    • Go Radio’s decision regarding timings and answers given is final

    ELIGIBILITY

    • Entrants MUST be 18 years of age or older
    • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the competition; duplicate entries will be removed
    • Entrants must live in the following postcode areas – G, FK, PA, KA or ML

    PRIZE

    • Five thousand pounds cash, paid via bank transfer
    • Prize redemption may take up to and including 28 days

    Gigs in Scotland The Kooks

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Gigs in Scotland The Kooks running from Wednesday 24th September 2025 until Wednesday 1st October 2025.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • One Entrant will be selected at random to win

    ELIGIBILITY 

    • Entrants MUST be 18 years of age or older
    • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the competition; duplicate entries will be removed

    PRIZE

    • 2 x tickets to the Kooks at the OVO Hydro on 8th October
    • Tickets are on transferrable and cannot be exchanged to monetary alternatives

    Podstars with South Lanarkshire College

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Podstars with South Lanarkshire College running from Monday 1st September until November 2025.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • Enter your Podcast concept and artwork at thisisgo.co.uk
    • All valid entries will be shortlisted to a top 10 by the Go Radio Programming Team
    • The top 5 entries will be voted to a top 5 by the public, the public will vote at thisisgo.co.uk (duplicate votes will be removed) The 5 Podcast ideas with the most public public votes will progress to the final stage
    • Top five entries will pitch their idea to judging panel with one concept winning the overall prize

    ELIGIBILITY 

    • Entrants MUST be an S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6 or NC Student between the ages of 11 and 18 years of age or at the time of entry with consent from parent or legal guardian
    • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the competition; duplicate entries will be removed
    • Entrant must live in the following postcodes G, FK, PA, KA or ML and attend an educational institute within one of these podcasts
    • Only students in School years S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6 or those studying an NC can enter
    • Podcast concept and artwork must be original – if not you may face disqualification
    • If shortlisted to the final 10, Entrants must be available to shoot content in November 2025 – specific date to be confirmed.
    • Judges decisions are final

    PRIZE

    • One Podcast Season, equating to six episodes, fully produced with videography (includes 3 x 30 second teaser clips for social) with studio hire, engineer and advice from Go Radio Programming Team
    • Prize expires March 2025 and must be booked before then.
    • Recording dates subject to studio availability
    • Prize cannot be exchanged or transferred for cash

    Hamilton Park

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Glasgow Science Centre running from Wednesday 1st October 2025 until Friday 10th October 2025.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • Enter online at thisisgo.co.uk to win
    • One contestant will be selected to at random to play and correctly identify the tracks used in Stephen and Zoe’s Science experiment.
    • Winner will be selected dependant on answers given
    • Go Radio’s decision with answers given is final

    ELIGIBILITY 

    • Entrants MUST be 18 years of age or older
    • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the competition; duplicate entries will be removed
    • Entrant must live in the following postcodes G, FK, PA, KA or ML

    PRIZE

    • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash value and is non-transferable.
    • The prize is ‘4 x Science Passports’ to be activated by 31 December 2025. Valid for 2 adults and 2 children, GSC will confirm length of validity.

    Vision Scotland – Pitch Perfect

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Vision Scotland Pitch Perfect – Running from Wednesday 20th August 2025 –
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    DETAILS OF COMPETITION

    • To enter, visit thisisgo.co.uk.
    • Selected Entrants will be required to participate in on-air gameplay to win.
    • During gameplay, the Entrant must:
    • Correctly identify all five celebrity voices in the correct order and correctly match each voice to the corresponding word in the given phrase.
    • The full name of each celebrity voice must be provided.
    • The first Entrant to correctly identify all five voices as described will win £2,500 cash.
    • If the Entrant provides one or more correct voice names that have not already been identified by a previous contestant, they will win £100 per correct name (maximum of four).
    • Go Radio’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition, including but not limited to the correctness of answers, is final.

    ELIGIBILITY 

    • Entrants MUST be 18 years of age or older
    • Entry is restricted to one entry per person for the duration of the competition; duplicate entries will be removed
    • Entrant must live in the following postcodes G, FK, PA, KA or ML

    PRIZE

    • Grand Prize: £2,500 cash for correctly identifying all five voices, in order, with full names and word assignment.
    • Partial Prize: £100 cash for each new, correct voice identified (up to a maximum of four).
    • Cash prizes will be paid via bank transfer to a valid UK bank account.
    • Please allow up to 28 days from the date of winning for payment to be processed.

    Headline Events

    • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at thisisgo.co.uk/category/win (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Go (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Headline Events running from Thursday 25th September until Tuesday 7th October 2025.
    • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

    Two contestants will be selected to at random on the final day of the on air competition. Winner will be selected at random.
    Go Radio’s decision will be final.
