Help give a local child a Christmas to remember with Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas

Go Radio are proud to be supporting Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas 2026 in association with The Malcolm Group, one of the UK’s leading providers of logistics, construction and maintenance services.

Imagine waking up as a child on Christmas Day to no toys, gifts or a hot meal, this is the case for one in three children across Glasgow and the West. You can help change this! Become a Secret Santa with Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas and you can make a HUGE difference.

Since 2014 this fantastic initiative has helped spread Christmas cheer to over 158,098 children with over 1.6 million gifts donated! They work alongside over 100 partners including registered Charities, the Health and Social Care Partnership, local councils, community projects and other social groups to make sure every child feels included at Christmas.

This year is Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas‘ 13th annual gift campaign supporting local children affected by hardship or living in poverty in Glasgow and surrounding regions, including North and South Lanarkshire, East and West Dunbartonshire, Dumbarton District, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, North, South and East Ayrshire, Argyll & Bute and East Renfrewshire.

You can get involved by pledging a gift, and it couldn’t be any easier! Choose your donation type, select the children and age groups you’d like to support, and complete your donation online. You’ll receive a Pledge ID to add to your gift tag. Check the website for gift drop-off locations and dates, then deliver your gift within the specified timeframe. You can also choose to donate cash.
